Monkey Around Playground at White Park

Monkey Around Playground at White Park is Concord's first all-inclusive playground and opened in fall 2025 as a full replacement for the older wooden playground. Official city materials confirm poured-in-place surfacing, a wheelchair-accessible swing, an accessible merry-go-round, music play, parent-and-child swings, and efforts to make elevated walkways accessible for all abilities. The playground sits within White Park, giving families room to pair playground time with trails, the seasonal splash pad, open park space, and other amenities. It works well for mixed-age sibling visits and for families who want a city-run park with meaningful mobility access improvements rather than a generic playground label.
