Foundation Meadows Park's inclusive playground opened in 2025 as a major accessibility-focused addition to Valpo Parks. Official materials describe a 5,230-square-foot play space designed for children of all abilities, with smooth poured-in-place surfacing, seven elevated components reachable by ramp, 15 ground-level activities, eight sensory play experiences, and inclusive bench swings for children and caregivers. The first-of-its-kind 12-foot Aventus Tower gives this playground a real destination feel rather than a basic neighborhood install. For families prioritizing mobility access and broad play variety in one stop, it is one of the strongest inclusive playground options in Northwest Indiana.
